CC'c City Broiler - Overland Park Steakhouse

CC's City Broiler is at Antioch and 151st Street
The exterior does look a little too much like a suburban shopping center, but the interior is quite nice.

This is an archive page only CC's City Broiler closed in 2007. The original location is still open (and worth visiting) in Columbia, Missouri.

CC's City Broiler is a contemporary steakhouse in Overland Park, Kansas on the south side of metropolitan Kansas City. CC's is my pick for the best steak in KC, a city known for steak.

Good service, excellent food, and fine dinning at a price far below comparable area steakhouses.

All entrees come with home baked sourdough bread, choice of soup or salad, and choice of potato, rice or vegetable. Yet most dinners are priced from $20-26. And before 6PM on Sunday through Thursday, they have an optional early bird menu available with complete meals from $10-15!

There are plenty of opportunities to spend more with many fine options for appetizers, side items, dessert and upgrades. But the standard items are very good - particularly the house salad (chopped greens plus interesting things like walnut, bits of fruit and crumbled blue cheese, wrapped in long thin slices of cucumber and dressed with balsamic vinegar/apricot) and the rock salt baked potato. I recomend upgrading the potato to the jalapeno twice baked potato.

CC's City Broiler particularly stresses their bone-in steaks, but so far, my favorite is the $25 ribeye with "sexy" shiitake sauce Diane. I look forward to continuing through their menu and finding new favorites and trying more of the excellent wine selection.

CC's has been open about 2 years, but has an older location in Columbia, MO. The Overland Park location is open only on evenings.

There are two indoor dining areas, a patio, and private rooms.
